><p><strong>At Medical Ambassadors International\u00a0<\/strong>we believe that development work should be\u00a0community owned. We promote this core principle by training workers in a very specific development philosophy known as Community Health Evangelism (CHE) which focuses on transforming lives both physically and spiritually.<\/p>\n<p>We offer various types of training (both in-person and online via zoom and self paced):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vision Seminars \u2013 for those interested in learning more about CHE before jumping in (2 days).<\/li>\n<li>TOT-S \u2013 covers CHE foundations and topics relevant to those who go on short-term mission trips, but who do not start or manage CHE programs overseas; for North American audiences (5 days consecutively or over 2 weekends).<\/li>\n<li>TOT-1 \u2013 covers CHE foundational principles and how to begin to organize CHE programs (5 days).<\/li>\n<li>TOT-2 \u2013 focuses on developing teaching materials, methods, and curriculum (5 days).<\/li>\n<li>TOT-3 \u2013 emphasis on evaluation, project expansion, multiplication, and project management (5 days).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internships<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 an immersive experience that provides a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience with CHE programs. For those who have completed\u00a0at least\u00a0a TOT-1; some parts of the world require TOT-2 and -3 as well (4-5 weeks).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Cycle of Life Training\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 curriculum designed to walk with women as they recognize their value through God\u2019s eyes\u2014physically, spiritually, and relationally. It includes women\u2019s health issues from adolescence to childbearing to menopause. Relational issues concerning marriage, mothers-in-law, forgiveness, abuse, and much more are addressed from a biblical viewpoint. One new area that we are excited about (and experimenting with) is a <strong>Self-Paced Virtual Vision Seminar<\/strong> that introduces people to MAI and CHE. It is intended for churches, missions groups and other organizations that want to learn more about MAI and CHE.
