Rere <\/em>is a woman from the Middle East North Africa (MENA) Region. She sets a beautiful example for us this month. Self-examination, prompted by a trainer, caused her to evaluate where she was in her relationship with the Lord. Thankfully, this started her off on a journey that changed the trajectory of her life and that of her friend. Read it here:<\/p>\n

Rere (not her real name)<\/em> is one of the staff at the church \u201cSocial Center\u201d in the MENA region.<\/p>\n

She shared these words with the CHE Master Trainer, \u201cI know God loves people; but I found this hard to believe, because I wasn\u2019t sure that He loved me.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the training, when the participants were asked to apply the passage in Luke 2:52<\/strong>, to themselves, Rere <\/em>discovered that she knew nothing about how she could have a relationship with God. Luke 2:52 says “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” <\/em><\/p>\n

With encouragement from the CHE Master Trainer, Rere <\/em>decided to apply what she had learned. She told the CHE Master Trainer a few months later, \u201cI started to pray and read the Bible daily since that day up until now. Today, I can say that I know that God loves me, and He has done a lot for me. Also, I feel a deep peace in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recently\"\"<\/a>, one of Rere\u2019s<\/em> friends asked her, \u201cWhat is going on with you?\u201d The friend observed that Rere\u2019s<\/em> face showed that she was happy and peaceful. Rere<\/em> answered her that the reason for her joy was that she now has an active relationship with God.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you would li<\/p>\n

ke to live in peace and have joy like me, then pray and read the Bible daily to build your relationship with God,\u201d she advised her friend.<\/p>\n

Today, both do exactly that; and share with each other what they have learned. Rere\u2019s<\/em> friend has gone a step further and taught her children to pray and read the Bible.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt<\/em><\/strong> only takes a spark to get a fire going, and soon all those around will warm up to its glowing!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Ephesians 3:20-21, says, \u201cNow to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generation, forever and ever!
