In the heart of Jerusalem, a struggling community in Cape Verde, Maria was facing an uphill battle. With no access to basic sanitation or clean water, life was already difficult. But as a single mother of three, her biggest challenge was survival. Without a job, she relied on the generosity of others to feed and care for her children.<\/p>\n

A New Opportunity Through Sewing & Community<\/h3>\n

Nine months ago, Maria joined a small community group where she not only found support and encouragement but also accepted Christ. Her faith became a source of strength, but she still longed for a way to provide for her family.<\/p>\n

In June 2024, an opportunity arose\u2014our team launched a cutting and sewing course for women in her community. Maria eagerly enrolled, hoping it could open doors for a better future. As the training progressed, her natural talent quickly became evident. She stood out as one of the top students, mastering the skills with dedication and passion.<\/p>\n

A Life Transformed<\/h3>\n

Even before completing the course, Maria\u2019s hard work paid off\u2014she was offered a job as a seamstress in a local shop with\u00a0a good salary. For the first time, she could provide for her children independently, breaking free from the cycle of dependency.<\/p>\n
