For Fatima and Miriam, survival was an everyday battle. Both women, divorced and raising their children alone, faced an overwhelming reality. Fatima worked tirelessly at menial jobs to provide for her three children, one of whom has type 2 diabetes. Miriam, a mother of five, struggled to meet even the most basic needs.<\/p>\n

Without stable incomes, they were forced to take any work they could find. For Fatima, that meant working in a local pub\u2014a dangerous environment where she was vulnerable to exploitation. Miriam\u2019s situation was no easier. With few opportunities, their futures seemed bleak, and the weight of their burdens grew heavier each day.<\/p>\n

In a creative access area of Kenya, a local CHE trainer, Amina, began meeting with Fatima and Miriam, inviting them to join a Bible study and discipleship group. This was the first step in helping them find not only spiritual strength but also practical solutions for their daily struggles.<\/p>\n

Recognizing their need for financial independence, Amina and other local partners worked alongside Fatima and Miriam to help them start their own small business. With guidance and support, the women launched a small-scale enterprise, allowing them to earn a living in a safe and dignified way.<\/p>\n

Restoring Dignity, Renewing Hope<\/h3>\n

The impact of this transformation has been profound. No longer trapped in unsafe working conditions, Fatima can now focus on caring for her children, ensuring her son receives proper medical attention while still being able to put food on the table. Miriam\u2019s five children now have stability, and their household has begun to thrive.<\/p>\n

Beyond financial security, these women have experienced spiritual renewal. Their involvement in Bible studies and discipleship classes has deepened their faith, reminding them that God sees their struggles and is faithful to provide.<\/p>\n
