Through a Women\u2019s Cycle of Life (WCL) training at her local church in Alexandria, Teresa attended a class on parenting and emotional healing. The session wasn\u2019t just about parenting\u2014it was about reconnecting. It was about understanding that her pain didn\u2019t have to define her future. It was about allowing God to heal the broken places in her heart so she could be present for her son again.<\/p>\n
Something shifted inside Teresa that day. Encouraged by the women in the group, she started talking to her son again\u2014not just the necessary words, but real conversations. She invited him to go for walks, to play, to share meals together. Step by step, she reclaimed the bond that grief had stolen from her.<\/p>\n
And she didn\u2019t stop there. She realized that sharing her pain with others wasn\u2019t a sign of weakness, but a path to healing. The friendships she formed in that class gave her strength, and she, in turn, began offering that same strength to others.<\/p>\n
